Many drivers find it confusing and difficult to maintain a balance between physical driving skills and driver awareness. Roadworks driving school specialises in Vehicle Training that focuses on building a driver's confidence and skill levels.

Roadworks provides a safe and friendly learning environment for all levels of driver: "P" plate (provisional licence) drivers, "L" plate learners and "M" (mature and motivated) drivers.

Roadworks driving school is centrally located in the southside Brisbane suburb of Camp Hill. We are half way between Carindale Shopping Centre and the Queensland Transport Office at Greenslopes. Log Books
According to the new rules for young learner drivers, an hour spent with a Driver Trainer will count as three hours in the Log Book (for 10 hours only).

• Includes pick up and 1 hour lesson before test
• Use of dual controlled vehicle for test
• Assistance with appropriate forms
• Moral support
• Drop off to home or reasonable destination after test.

Booking a Driving Test
Queensland Transport charges a booking fee and it is more expensive for a Saturday test. See Queensland Transport for details as these fees increase yearly. Driving tests cannot be booked without payment of this fee.

All students are also offered a Roadworks Training Manual at a cost of $5. This will allow your instructor to keep a check on your progress. It contains relevant diagrams and a summary of skills necessary to pass the test.

Gift Vouchers can be purchased for any number of driving lessons and are valid for 12 months. Anything over 6 lessons receives a $3 discount.

Roadworks Driver Training also conducts pre-licence training for school groups or refresher training for Fleet Safety.

Roadworks Principal Instructor is Glenn Valentine. Glenn has been a Driving Instructor since 2001 and will provide patient yet comprehensive coverage of all aspects of Defensive Driving.

Philosophy: It is satisfying to be able to pass on knowledge and skills to another person. However, when that actually makes a difference in that person's life, it then becomes rewarding.

For your safety, all of the team at the Roadworks driving school are fully Accredited Driver Trainers. Driving lessons are conducted in manual and automatic cars that are fully air-conditioned and fitted with dual controls. We also operate in a smoke free environment.
